About YPOPs!

YPOPs! is a utility which emulates a mail server and provides free POP3 and SMTP access to Yahoo! Mail. The application is independ from Yahoo's POP3/SMTP mail server. You can use any mail client you choose.

YPOPs! is a free open source application used for providing POP3 and SMTP access to the Yahoo! Mail servers. You can use any email client you want such as Outlook, Thunderbird etc. and connect to Yahoo! Mail seamlessly. It provides a POP3 server interface for the email clients and an HTTP client (browser) interface for the Yahoo! server settings. SMTP can be emulated in the same way. The YPOPs! Project was started in May 2002 and over the years gathered a very large user community with over 3 million downloads.
